This reserve red wine has a brilliant ruby ​​color. On the palate it appears very full-bodied, has a balanced acidity and tastes of blackberries, blueberries, sun-dried tomatoes and sweet vanilla. It is remembered with a long lasting aftertaste. The Xinomavro red wine from the single vineyard "Barba Giannis" is matured for 24 months in French Allier barrels and does not require any filtration.

From certified, sustainable viticulture of the Alpha Estate / Amyndeo region, with protected geographical indication of origin. This is part of the "Natura 2000" ecological protected area network, which was brought into being by the European Union. Grown on sandy loam soil in an optimal microclimate for local viticulture. Alpha observes the strict requirements for sustainable cultivation and harmony with natural resources.

This red wine is undoubtedly one of the noblest red wine varieties in northern Greece and goes very well with Parma ham, as well as cheese specialties, as well as Mediterranean dishes with dark meat.
