Manouri was already known in antiquity and today it belongs to the Greek cheeses of quality level A. Manouri cheese Vassilitsa from the Hellas region, has a protected designation of origin. It is a rindless, soft cream cheese that tastes like a ricotta.
In terms of taste, of course, the milk is present, as well as the combination of a light lemon aroma and an equally light salty taste. A fine sweetness with a mild spice perfect its unique aroma.
