Arta in the Epirus region is located on the west coast of Greece. Right here (since 1992) "Kalas" - the leading sea salt production company in Greece - has operated its four large salt production plants.
All of them are internationally certified and TÜV approved.
Kalas Salt Golden is a high quality sea salt with many minerals and a high iodine content. It is a very finely grounded and mild sea salt, rich in valuable minerals and it has a slightly moist consistency.
The Kalas Salt Golden is cleaned and manufactured without any chemical processes.
Due to the excellent quality, Kalas now exports this salt to over 20 countries and it is the most used salt in Greece.
