Achaia Clauss Mavrodaphne liqueur wine is not only very well known, but is also popular because of its voluminous taste of vanilla, plum and spicy bay leaves. It has a peculiar, rich, velvet red color, is very sweet and has a balanced acidity.
Mavrodaphne liqueur wine is suitable as an aperitif, with dark cakes, as well as with (chocolate) desserts, or of course as a drinking pleasure on various occasions.
Since this wine is made from the Mavrodaphne grape of the same name, exclusively in the Patras region, it has a protected designation of origin. In general, the Mavrodaphne sweet wine is the best known in Greece. He is also very much appreciated in Germany and England.
